EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING
EAL

What is EAL?

Equine Assisted Learning is not simply a riding lesson. Horses become partners in hands-on activities designed to encourage reflection, communication, responsibility, and personal growth. Activities may happen on the ground or in the saddle. Prior horse experience is not required. The focus is on what participants discover and practice through the experience.

Who we serve

Our program is open to individuals, families, youth and adult groups, schools, and organizations. Whether you're looking to build confidence, communication, teamwork, or simply connect with horses, we'll work with you to shape a session that fits your goals.

Group sessions start at $50 per participant per hour, and individual sessions start at $75. Sessions are offered weekdays from 4 PM to 6 PM and weekends from 9 AM to 5 PM. A signed waiver is required for each participant before the first session.

SAFETY & PARTICIPATION

What families and programs should know

Sessions are small: up to five participants working with four horses, led by our experienced team. Riding is readiness-based, and our lead decides when each participant is ready. Groundwork is always a full-participation option, never a punishment.

Helmets are provided and required whenever someone rides. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required, and sessions take place in our outdoor arena, weather permitting.

Our program is educational, not therapy.
